​My name is James Bird. Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won't meet me until our appointment; furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications; equipment; reporting methods; and pricing. As a Licensed and Insured Certified Professional Inspector®, I look forward to providing you with the very best service. Prior to my career as a home inspector, I was a machine adjuster, a plumber, and a carpenter. Fixing complex machines; repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping equipment; and building custom staircases have given me the well-rounded background for a successful career in home inspection. In my spare time, I enjoy completing home improvement projects (I recently remodeled our kitchen and built a neighbor's deck). I also enjoy mushroom hunting, boating, and grilling out. My favorite time is spent with my wife and our sons.
